Help Me Heal Fund
Not every dog or cat who arrives at PAWS Atlanta is in a suitable condition to be adopted. Some come to us with urgent medical needs ranging from broken bones, skin burns or infections requiring critical care, and other orthopedic and medical issues requiring surgical intervention. Others come with deep emotional scars due to neglect and mistreatment. The Help Me Heal Fund provides medical care for extreme illness or injury for an animal in our care.
Our no-kill philosophy is very simple. It means that we give all of the animals in our care, the attention they need and deserve. Period.
Frisbee is our current resident receiving care directly from the Help Me Heal Fund.

Science Diet Program
PAWS Atlanta is proud to be the beneficiary of the Hill's Pet Nutrition Science Diet's Shelter Feeding Program. All of our shelter dogs and cats are eating Science Diet food exclusively. All adopted animal also go home with a free trial sized bag of Science Diet food, which we recommend for continuity.
