    Barbara says:  "Don't hate me because I'm beautiful. In my spare time, I do a little modeling.  I also enjoy long walks on our nature trail, running after and destroying tennis balls, playing with my sister Betty, chasing birds, getting lots of belly rubs and treats from the staff and volunteers and sunbathing.  I don't really like reading, but if you want to read a book to me I will be happy to listen!"

"We had a lot going on today!  There are these new "mister" things that are being put up around the shelter that are really neat.  You can see them in the picture of us on the right.  They really help keep us cool, but Barbara wouldn't share her ball, she REALLY loves tennis balls!" 

"Tomorrow is Saturday, we love Saturdays!  Some of our favorite volunteers come out to spend time with us, we love them!  And they bring TREATS!!!!!" - Betty and Barbara

Betty and Barbara want to say "Thank you" to all that contributed to our new air conditioner!!  It's really hot outside right now so the girls are chilling inside on their blankets in a very comfy 72 degrees!  :)

We love it when Charlotte comes to visit!  She is one of our favorite volunteers, she always has treats!

We spent the day hanging out with the volunteers that we love and avoiding the camera.  They almost got a good shot of Barbara, but I walked right in front of the camera and messed up the picture.  They are still trying, these folks are persistent! - Betty

Today, the girls continued to work on their tunnel.  Betty had an attack of the sneezes, so they had to stop, but they will be back at it again tomorrow!
